New Jersey domestic LLC Certificate of Formation costs $125.00 under the current Treasury fee schedule. The filing establishes a New Jersey registered agent and office, organizer, management information, and a compliant LLC name. The fee is separate from the annual report and any expedited or payment charge.
Domestic corporation filing fee
New Jersey domestic for-profit corporation formation fees depend on the corporate filing and authorized-share structure; the current Treasury fee schedule should be used for the exact certificate total. The corporation must state authorized shares, incorporator, New Jersey registered agent and office, and required purpose/designator information.
Registering a company formed elsewhere
For state registration, “foreign” can mean a company formed in another U.S. state. These fees are separate from creating a new New Jersey entity.
Foreign LLC qualification
New Jersey foreign LLC Certificate of Registration costs $125.00. It requires home-state existence information, New Jersey registered agent and office, the legal or alternate name used in New Jersey, and any required certificate from the formation jurisdiction.

New Jersey processing times
New Jersey electronic business filings provide immediate submission and online status access, but acceptance depends on completeness, payment, and name availability. Paper and mailed requests are slower. A receipt does not guarantee an accepted certificate.
Expedited filing options
New Jersey offers over-the-counter expedited service: a $15.00 per-filing expedite, a $500.00 two-hour service, and a $1,000.00 one-hour service where available. LLC expedited charges can be $25.00 per filing, with same-day/2-hour/1-hour charges shown separately. Annual reports are not eligible for expediting.
