Resignation, notice, and effective dates
North Dakota resignation follows statutory notice and effective-date rules and the current form controls the fee. Resignation does not appoint a successor; the entity must promptly designate a qualified North Dakota agent.
Consequences of a missing agent or address
Without a valid North Dakota agent, an entity can miss process, suffer default, lose good standing, and face dissolution or revocation. Limited substitute service does not replace the continuing appointment duty.
