Registering a company formed elsewhere
For state registration, “foreign” can mean a company formed in another U.S. state. These fees are separate from creating a new Utah entity.

Utah lists $59 for a foreign LLC registration/qualification filing in the Fiscal Year 2026 schedule. Provide acceptable home-jurisdiction existence evidence, Utah registered agent/office, and the required foreign registration information.
Foreign corporation qualification
Utah lists $59 for a foreign corporation registration/qualification filing in the current fee schedule. The foreign corporation must provide jurisdictional evidence, Utah registered agent/office, and charter information; tax registration is separate.
Utah processing times
Utah online registration is available through the Division/Utah.gov business system, and filings can be submitted electronically. The reviewed fee schedule does not promise one universal approval time; complete online filings are generally faster than paper and remain subject to review.
